It is Sony’s best PS5 controller yet and significantly improved from PS4. The DualSense is an absolute joy to use, and the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are a revelation to the gaming experience and handling. It is sturdy and comfortable to grip with the built-in Mic and 3.5mm jack port, enabling you to chat with friends online while switching voice capture on and off using the dedicated mute button.

DualSense Controller PS5 and PC give you the option to play your favorite games on your PC without limitations. PS Remote Play requires a Remote Play App connected to Wi-Fi, PS4, or PS5 console with the latest system software and compatible match. Use the USB cable supplied with the PS5 console to join or charge the controller. Controllers are sold separately.

Design

The DualSense controller is based on the PS4’s DualShock 4, easily the best controller in PlayStation’s series to date. Notably, the thumbsticks are in the same position, and a touch panel is still at the top. A lightbar also makes a comeback on either side of the touch panel, not on the top, as in the PS4.

The Haptic Feedback

Feel physically responsive feedback to your in-game actions with dual actuators that replace traditional rumble motors. In your hands, these dynamic vibrations can simulate the feeling of everything from the environment to the recoil of different weapons.

Adaptive triggers

Experience varying levels of force and tension as you interact with your in-game gear and environments. From pulling back an increasingly tight bowstring to hitting the brakes on a speeding car, feel physically connected to your on-screen actions. The new controller adopts adaptive triggers for the L2 and R2 buttons.

Built-in microphone and headset jack

Chat with friends online using the built-in microphone or connecting a headset to the 3.5mm jack. Easily switch voice capture on and off at a moment’s notice with the dedicated mute button. Internet and an account for PlayStation Network are required.

Connectivity

PS Remote Play requires a Remote Play App connected to Wi-Fi, PS4 or PS5 console with the latest system software and compatible game. A PS4 or PS5 console with a wired connection via a LAN cable is recommended. Version 4.0 of the Remote Play App on iOS and iPadOS or version 4.1 on macOS is required for games to be playable with the controller over Bluetooth.

The cable is not included in the package. To connect or charge the controller, use the USB cable supplied with the PS5 console. Controllers are sold separately.

Charging and Battery life

You can charge up to 2 DualSense wireless controllers simultaneously without connecting them to your PS5 Console. Amazingly, the PlayStation team improved the battery life of the PS5 compared to the PS4 and previous models.
